OUR SPEAKER: Dr. Gyimah Whitaker | Superintendent, City Schools of Decatur
Gyimah Whitaker, Ed.D. began her tenure with City Schools of Decatur (CSD) in 2023. An engaging and experienced leader, Dr. Whitaker has more than two decades of leadership experience.
Dr. Whitaker is focused on improving student outcomes, and stewarding CSD's strategic plan to make the district greater.
She holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and a doctorate from Georgia State University. She is a native of West Philadelphia, a proud wife, and the mother to two children.
