Art Rosser energized the club and talked about creating "experiences" such as a Braves Experience, White Water Rafting Experience, etc. . . . all to auction off as part of our Brighter Futures Fundraising Event.
Chair of the Sponsor Initiative, Rick Garnitz, asked each Rotarian to fill out a 3x5 index card and write down five sponsor targets that he or she would go and talk to.

Missionary Sarah Junkin Woodard Visits Decatur Rotary

The Decatur Rotary Club was honored to hear from Sarah Junkin Woodard, who is on a speaking tour including California, Texas and the east coast Florida to Maine representing the Center for Development in Central America. She spoke about her Rotary Club in Nicaragua and the Center for Development of Central America.

Club Rotario Ciudad Sandino is a vibrant community organization dedicated to humanitarian service in Ciudad Sandino, Nicaragua. Committed to the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self," the club engages in various projects aimed at improving health, education, and socio-economic conditions in the local community. Through fundraisers, volunteer work, and partnerships with other organizations, Club Rotario Ciudad Sandino strives to make a meaningful impact, fostering positive change and building a brighter future for residents in need.
The Center for Development in Central America (CDCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainable development in the Central American region. Established with the goal of addressing socio-economic disparities and environmental challenges, CDCA focuses on implementing initiatives that empower local communities and foster long-term resilience.
