Speaker Jim Logan, left; Harl Pike gave the invocation

Our speaker last week, Jim Logan, is an endurance athlete and author of "Just Keep TRI-ING: The Faith-Fueled Formula to Push Through Pain, Face Your Fears, and Finish Your Race.” He shared an inspirational story about how being diagnosed with terminal cancer has given him the opportunity to live a more meaningful life, and to help others live a better life. He continues to train for the IRONMAN triathlon.

Jim memorably said about endurance competition, “There’s joy in the pain, and meaning in the suffering.”
