Bing Martinez Spoke about the Cebu, Philippines Rotary Club

Club Secretary Eric Lucas introduced Bing Martinez. Eric also spoke about his connections to the Philippines.

President Dudley Larus and speaker Bing Martinez employed an interview format, sitting in chairs and passing a microphone for Q&A. Bing informed attendees about the geography and demographics of the Philippines and the Cebu province. He gave us a sense of how the Cebu club–our sister club–operates. There are 75 members, and 48 have been Paul Harris fellows. Their club has created a culture of philanthropy, with many members making major gifts. Dudley and Bing discussed how our two clubs might work together, and one possibility is to develop a Youth Exchange program. The Cebu club does not currently have a US or Canada partner.
