Jai Rogers joined Delta Community Credit Union in 2012 as Vice President of Business and Community Development. She currently leads a team responsible for identifying and developing business strategies with leading corporations throughout metro Atlanta and multiple out-of-state branch locations. Jai also manages the execution of a comprehensive community engagement strategy that aligns with the Credit Union mission to strengthen civic, high school and corporate collaborations.
Prior to joining Delta Community, Jai launched and directed the Corporate Development department at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta as the Corporate Development Officer. She and her staff cultivated corporate donors within Atlanta's large and mid-sized companies to tailor their philanthropic giving around the support of children, wellness and research.
Jai holds a bachelor's degree in Urban Planning from California State University at Long Beach. She currently serves on the boards of directors for the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, City Springs Theatre Company and Trees Atlanta.

MLK Service Project a Huge Success Thanks to Volunteers
Decatur Rotary turned out in a huge way for its MLK project and owes a big thank you to Mr. Doug Robinson who supervised the three-day Rotary MLK project along with Noel Maloof. Doug was always there onsite for three days directing the troops, working and answering questions. He did a fantastic job and Decatur Rotary thanks Doug as well as all the volunteers who showed up and did the work.

Rotary Exchange Students Say Thanks to Rotary
John Bennett described what a great achievement it is to host a Rotary Exchange student and asked club members to discuss the opportunity with friends and neighbors. The host family must be in the Decatur School District.

With her talk entitled: “A Life in a Year,” Chayce told Rotarians about how being a Rotary Exchange Student in Belgium changed her life forever and how she was so appreciative for the fantastic opportunity to live in Europe and travel extensively and grow as a person.

President Tozzi welcomes new member James Herndon to the family.
Decatur Rotary is extremely pleased to welcome a new member, James Herndon, Financial Advisor for Edward Jones.
James is extremely active in the community including being co-president, Glennwood Elementary School PTA; Communication Director for PTA and Tally Street School; School Leadership Team; member of community organization for Decatur Heights neighborhood and Member and Chair of Board of Education, City Schools of Decatur. He is a great addition to our club!

District Conference Schedule and Dates Announced
District Conference and Assembly | March 21-24
Jeckyll Island
We have combined the annual District Training Assembly with the District Conference weekend this year. If you will serve in club leadership for the 2024-25 Rotary year, plan on arriving Thursday night and join us Friday morning for a leadership development and vibrant club workshop starting at 8 am. District Assembly will start with lunch on Friday, followed by breakout sessions to help your club become irresistible in your community.
